San Patricio had to explain what was once the Holy Trinity. For all to understand, he used a shamrock as shown, explaining that the Holy Trinity, like clover, was the same unit, but with three different people. The first cloverleaf was the Father, the second was the Son, and the Holy Spirit last. After that, the three leaf clover is indicated as good luck as they represent the three persons of the Trinity.

The carnival of Venice arises from the tradition of the year 1480-1700, where the nobility was disguising itself to go out to be mixed by the people. Since then the masks are the most important element of the carnival. Officially he declared himself as important festivity during the 13th century.

Nevertheless, it was in the 18th century when the Venetian carnival reached his maximum brilliance. To him there were coming travelers and aristocrats of the whole Europe, in search of amusement and pleasure.

With the decadence of Venice as merchant and military power, due to the discovery of America and the change of the Route of It her Sedates to favor the Galleon of Manila and the immense wealths proceeding from the new world, the carnival turned pale up to almost disappearing.
